I remember reading that Vince McMahon was behind this show as a way to get into the fledgling MMA industry.
OMG I loved this show as a teen and was mad when the storyline was left to hang for a new season that never materialized.
It was nice to know some history like members of MMPR were the stars of this show, and it was fun seeing Vegeta on commentary. Great review!
